Long time no write! It’s taken me a while to get into the site I’d forgotten passwords! Sorry Sue.
Well I am back and with all the news. James as you are all probably aware left us and was replaced by Angie, who has settled in nicely and makes a nice cup of tea! Briony volunteers on Wednesday afternoon and is a whizz at the sage (as in account system not in the cooking!) We also have Trish on Tuesdays. Trevor is busy with supermarket collections, though sadly not as many as last year and he says we may be heading for a shortfall of £10,000 so get your brains in gear for some fundraising events! Joanne and Trevor would love to hear from you. Richard is busy running the chambers and bus driving, well it keeps him out of trouble! Nancy our ‘Healer and Reflexologist’ is kept busy on Friday mornings, she very kindly gives her time for free and all she ask is that you make a donation to the centre. If you would like to see her give Joanne a call. Sandra our Physiotherapist is available Tuesday and Wednesday and is looking at doing alternative days. Please give Joanne a ring if you would be interested in seeing Sandra.
BBQ + FUN DAY - SEPTEMBER 13TH
We are having a barbecue in September and we will be doing our Annual Raffle. We are looking for donations of BARBECUES (!) CHARCOAL, TONGS (FOR TURNING THE SAUSAGES!) and a group of singers to entertain, so if you can help please get in touch with Joanne or Trevor.
COMMITTEE NEWS
Things are quiet on this front. Hopefully we will be able to announce the date of the AGM soon and we will have a full list of committee members for you. Thankfully we don’t need to have an election as we now only have ten people wishing to stand for the committee.
