Supermarket collections are a valuable source of income for our charity.
Over the years, through the support of numerous local and national supermarkets and the generousity of the public we have raised huge amounts of money to help with our running costs.
The table below shows the history of the annual collections since 2003:-
2003 :- £19,842.82
2004 :- £26,375.03
2005 :- £22,023.62
2006 :- £32,000.11
2007 :- £36,067.44
2008 :- £22,370.23
2009 :- £18,148.36
2010 :- £9,978.28
2011 :- £11,469.85
2012 :- £ 13,512.84
2013 :- £ 18,492.70
2014 :- £15,984.77
We are continuing to look to organise further collections with supermarkets in the Yorkshire Region. This is proving very hard in these difficult times when more people are struggling financially and more charities are appoaching supermarkets regarding collections.
If any organisation can assist us by providing venues for collections then please contact the centre.
