Dan's mammoth fundraising effort of cycling well over 1100 miles (despite the distance on the notice) from John O' Groats at the tip of Scotland to England's southernmost point at Land's End started on the 3rd September and was completed in 16 days!
Not without problems and challenges, Dan and his troupe managed to overcome numerous punctures, bent wheels (which involved finding the only replacement in England that would fit !) to say nothing of the logistics keeping everyone fed and watered.
Dan would be the first to admit that without his support team none of this would have happened. A big round of applause to Paul, Ming and Josh for supporting Dan as well as Linda and Claire who kept the centre running whilst half the staff were away on a cycling holiday!
Thanks also go to Halfords and LifeCycles Leeds Bike Shop for their mechanical assistance. Anyone else to thank - well naturally Dan for his herculean effort and his Mum, Joanne, who went through hell and back to be at his side as much as she could during his adventure. Jo's own adventures during this time are the subject of much speculation!
